As the 2019 Women Breastfeeding week continues towards it’s final days in the various locations, Action for Development (AFOD) and other partners in South Sudan have continued to participate and support activities in the communities other locations like Terekeka county, South Sudan.
MUAC screening is among the activities included in the celebration. To attract communities in good numbers and increase awareness coverage, screening, counseling, and safe healthy nutrition practices at Nyori Payam, Terekeka, South Sudan.
Breast feeding activity continue to rise as community awareness using full MIYCN counseling package is intensified. MUAC screening reached at Gulukuk, Terekeka following the good turn up of the community on the second day of Breastfeeding Week.
